Growing up on a farm in Vermont, I’ve always enjoyed working on equipment, restoring vehicles, and doing small engine repair, including rebuilding the engine on a John Deere 2555, which helped solidify my goal of becoming a diesel mechanic. I plan to attend WyoTech in Fall 2025 to earn my diesel certification so I can build on the hands-on experience I’ve gained through farm work, Advanced Welding and Automotive at my tech program, and work-based learning internships. My long-term goal is to return to Vermont, work on agricultural equipment, and eventually own my own mobile diesel mechanic business.
