I have been committed to welding since the 10th grade, when I completed a two-year program before coming to WMCC to further my skills with the ultimate goal of working at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. On top of my college classes, I am also balancing my time and training for the Army National Guard. If selected, this scholarship would recognize my hard work and dedication to both my country and my trade.
