Council Jr-Sr High School's Agricultural Mechanics and Welding program is upgrading from aging, donated, and entry-level tools to professional-grade Milwaukee® equipment. Students working on welding, fabrication, small engines, agricultural equipment repair, and metalworking will now have access to modern cordless platforms, diagnostic tools, and trade-specific equipment that reflect what they'll encounter in the workforce. Safety and tool accountability remain foundational: students complete safety training and demonstrate competency before working independently, and daily shop expectations include proper tool care, preventative maintenance, and equipment inspection. The new tools will be on display throughout the year at community events including the FFA Alumni Breakfast, plant sales, local fairs, and industry partnership activities.
