W.D. and Mary Baker Career Center's Electrical program is upgrading to professional-grade Milwaukee® tools, giving students reliable, industry-standard equipment to work with. The course begins with hands-on training in proper tool use, with safety reinforced throughout the year in every lab session. Students will showcase their work at the annual Lafayette Parish career fair and during open houses at the Career Center. The goal throughout is preparing students with the real-world skills they need to step directly into the workforce.
