A quick snapshot of who we are:
Bring Back the Trades is a national nonprofit based in Rye, New Hampshire, committed to promoting the skilled trades as essential, fulfilling, and accessible career paths. Through large-scale community events, scholarship funding, and strategic partnerships, we help students explore and pursue life-changing opportunities in the trades.
The Gillette Skills Expo, presented by F.W. Webb Company, with Platinum Support from Optiline Enterprises, Casella Waste Systems, Lighthouse Credit Union, and Kenco Plumbing & Gas, will be our largest event to date—with 5,000+ students, parents, educators, and industry professionals expected to attend. The event is Saturday, October 25, 10a-4p. More sponsors listed below! Add your business to the list – and support the future of the trades!
Here’s what makes this event special:
- Hands-on exhibits and vendor showcases from the skilled trades
- Keynote speaker Aaron Witt of BuildWitt (think “the next Mike Rowe”)
- Keynote speaker Demi Knight Clark, nationally recognized welder and trades advocate
- Leon from Kenco Plumbing will share his inspiring personal journey
- Patriots player appearances (two verbally committed—announcement pending signed agreements)
- Raffles, ticketed stadium tours, and community-focused experiences
- Downloadable posters, sponsorship information and registration forms are below (see orange boxes)
We’re also thrilled to be working with Milwaukee Tool (our website sponsor) about their potential participation level at Gillette. The American Welding Society is bringing their traveling exhibit to showcase welding opportunities. We are currently beginning our outreach efforts to other vendors and associations. Let us know if you’re interested in more information before signing up as a sponsor!
At our fall event in New Hampshire last year, we hosted over 4,500 attendees representing 75 schools, and gave away $100,000+ in scholarships—all thanks to the strength of our partners and sponsors. With Gillette, we’re going even bigger.
If you have any questions or would like to discuss sponsorship options, we’d be happy to connect further. We would be honored to have you as part of this transformative event.
