BBTT to Host Skills Expo at Vermont State University Castleton Campus

Rye, New Hampshire — February 3, 2025 — Bring Back the Trades (BBTT), a nonprofit based in Rye, New Hampshire, is thrilled to announce their Skills Expo, presented by F.W. Webb and brought to you by BBTT and the Chamber & Economic Development of the Rutland Region (CEDRR) is coming to Vermont. With support from and hosted by Vermont State University Castleton Campus, this exciting event will take place on May 20, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in Castleton, Vermont.

This one-of-a-kind event will provide a hands-on opportunity for students to explore various trade skills and learn directly from industry professionals. Attendees can engage with experts in trades like plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, construction, and more, making it an invaluable experience for anyone considering a career in the trades. Area schools will be bussing in students, ensuring access to this transformative experience for young people across the region, but all ages are welcome.

The Skills Expo aims to highlight the critical role of skilled trades in today’s workforce and provide a pathway for students to discover high-demand, high-paying careers that can secure a prosperous future.

Bring Back the Trades is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to empowering the next generation of skilled tradespeople by advocating for rewarding trade careers, educating parents, facilitating mentorships with professionals, and providing scholarships. BBTT aims to elevate awareness, respect, and opportunities in the trades, inspiring a world where skilled trades are celebrated, valued, and pursued as impactful careers.
