I developed a passion for welding at a young age while helping my dad and grandfather fix equipment on our family farm, and I’ve been building my skills every chance I get since. Receiving this scholarship would allow me to finish my education and achieve my goal of launching my own welding business. My long-term plan is to use my skills to give back by supporting local farms and small businesses with the repair work they need to succeed.
