I’m a cosmetology student at the Center for Technology, Essex, where I’m now in my second year and have discovered a real passion for hair color, creativity, and connecting with others. Trade school has given me the hands-on learning, certifications, and real-world salon experience I need to be career-ready, and it’s helped me shape a long-term dream of creating a combined thrift store and salon that supports clients with limited income. I’m excited to continue building my skills and use what I’ve learned to empower my community and make beauty services more accessible.
