I come from a family of tradespeople and construction workers, and working alongside my father as an electrician’s helper made me fall in love with how different trades come together to support a project and create something meaningful for the community. My aim is to become a skilled and respected construction manager, carrying on my family’s tradition while helping advance diversity and empower future generations—especially women—in this field. I’m graduating high school in June and will be attending Wentworth Institute of Technology for Construction Management, and this scholarship would help toward the cost of tuition as I work toward coordinating larger, more complex projects in the future.
